REGISTRATION AND MEMBERSHIP
The benefits of membership in the College of Alberta Professional Forest Technologists are many and varied:

The College of Alberta Professional Forest Technologists has 2 types of members, Regulated and Non Regulated (See 2009 Bylaws Article 3).
APPLYING FOR REGISTRATION OR MEMBERSHIP
To apply for registration or membership with the College of Alberta Professional Forest Technologists, please complete an Application Form and send a signed copy along with the required supporting documentation to the College office.
Upon receipt, the applicant is notified that the application was received and advised of any additional requirements. The Registrar reviews the application to ensure that it is complete, supporting documentation is included and that the applicant meets the requirements of membership. The application is then forwarded to the Registration Committee for review and an approval decision. The applicant must be notified of the Registration Committee's decision within 120 days of the application being received by the College. If an application is not approved, the applicant must be provided the reason, and may appeal the decision.
