Welcome, and thank you for your participation!

In addition, several bylaws resolutions were proposed, voted upon, and passed during the business section of the AGM.

In Summary:

Late payment penalty of $150.00 will be rescinded, the re-instatement fee of $100.00 will remain in effect.

Special Resolution 2012-2; Adoption of pro-rated fees
Pro-rated dues schedule will apply to members who apply within a practice permit year.

Special Resolution 2012-3; Associate member status
In order to reflect professionals working in the forest sector, an associate member will include applicants with a diploma/degree in programs including environmental sciences or natural resources.  Such a membership is stipulated by completion of core competencies towards regulated membership status.

Thank you to all who participated in the successful hosting of the 2012 CAPFT AGM and to all who were able to make attendance.

Sincerely,

Pat Gallupe, President
